The US cable ratings monster returns for the 2nd half of 7th season.


24: Legacy, Season 1 – FOX (UK) 15 February 2017 at 9:00 pm
A spinoff of sorts from the original series starring Kiefer Sutherland. This time round Corey Hawkins (The Walking Dead, Straight Outta Compton) stars as a Ranger (that’s US Army, not Park) returning home and being faced with a terrorist plot (and a ticking clock).


Colony, Season 2 – Sky1 No exact date/time – Spring 2017 (TBC)
Josh Holloway is an FBI agent in a Los Angeles run by aliens, while is family is torn between collaboration and resistance. This Vichy pastiche also stars Prison Break/Walking Dead’s Sarah Wayne Callies.


The 100, Season 4 – E4 No exact date/time – April 2017 (TBC)Not a low-budget remake of The 4400, but a drama about a small group of youths sent back to an Earth destroyed by a nuclear war – 100 of them. The US air it as a midseason replacement which puts it in early 2017.


Stranger Things, Season 2 – Netflix No exact date/time – Unknown 2017
A love letter to the supernatural classics of the 80’s, Stranger Things is the story of a young boy who vanishes into thin air. Stars Winona Ryder.


The Vampire Diaries, Season 8b (Final) – ITV2 No exact date/time – Unknown 2017
The Vampire Diaries returns for it’s final season, at midnight… (someone needs to explain to ITV that just because a show has vampires in it, you don’t need to put it in the middle of the night…) 😉 For those watching on NETFLIX – Season 7 lands, 1st December 2016 on the streaming service.
